Job Summary
Dynamic Server Support Technician is a senior position focused on the repair and troubleshooting of various client products including desktops, laptops, and servers. Responsibilities include providing customer support, answering client inquiries professionally, managing service calls per established service level agreements, and completing all related administrative tasks. Successful candidates will be expected to control assets and inventory, report all activity accurately, and adhere to safety policies. The role requires communication skills for technical issues, ability to transport to client locations, and physical capability to handle equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Technical school certification or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance
- Ability to communicate regarding technical issues with clients
- Ability to drive to client locations
- Ability to drive long distances, and occasional overnight assignments within other geographies
- Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Must own a basic repair tool kit
Desired Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is a plus
- Knowledge of relevant software and hardware
- Maintain all required OEM Certifications as directed by Management
