Job Summary
Dynamic Server Support Technician is a senior position responsible for troubleshooting and repairing client products including desktops, laptops, and servers. The role involves direct interaction with clients to resolve technical issues and ensuring customer satisfaction by adhering to service level agreements. Responsibilities include providing customer support, managing service calls, maintaining accurate reporting, and ensuring control of assets and inventory. The technician must communicate effectively about technical problems, handle a basic repair tool kit, and be able to lift equipment. Candidates should possess a technical school certification and up to 2 years of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- Technical school certification or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance
- Ability to communicate regarding technical issues with clients
- Ability to drive to client locations
- Ability to drive long distances, and occasional overnight assignments within other geographies
- Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Must own a basic repair tool kit
Desired Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is a plus
- Maintain all required OEM Certifications as directed by Management
- Knowledge of relevant software and hardware
