Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, develop personalized treatment plans, and implement therapeutic interventions including exercises, manual therapy, and injury prevention education. Maintain meticulous documentation of evaluations, progress notes, and discharge summaries while supervising Physical Therapist Assistants and mentoring support personnel. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and adjust treatment plans based on data-driven effectiveness evaluations. Work onsite in a fully equipped rehabilitation center in Radford, Virginia, serving patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, neurological conditions, and chronic pain.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution
- Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in the state of Virginia
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems
Desired Qualifications
- A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting
- Experience working in a rehabilitation center or hospital environment
- Familiarity with a variety of therapeutic modalities and techniques
- Prior involvement in mentoring or supervising support staff
