Job Summary
The Dynamic PC Support Technician role is responsible for repairing a variety of client products and performing basic to moderately complex troubleshooting for desktops and laptops. The technician provides customer support, answers client questions professionally, and manages service calls per established service level agreements. Duties include meeting customer service satisfaction criteria, reporting all activities accurately, ensuring control of assets and inventory, and adhering to safety policies. The position requires technical school certification or equivalent, valid driver’s license, and a basic repair tool kit, with a focus on effective communication with clients.
Required Qualifications
- Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent
- 0-2 years of relevant experience
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance
- Ability to communicate regarding technical issues with clients
- Ability to drive to client locations
- Ability to drive long distances, and occasional overnight assignments within other geographies
- Ability to lift and or move various computer equipment up to 50 lbs
- Must own a basic repair tool kit
Desired Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience is a plus
- Maintain all required OEM Certifications as directed by Management
- Knowledge of relevant software and hardware
