DWU - CESC - Safety Technician Special Assignment - 2nd Shift

Provides health and safety support to production and site personnel under the guidance of the site HSE leader; assists in the analysis, review and sustainability of Health & Safety Management Systems. Responsible for maintaining skills and knowledge, determining gaps in health and safety initiatives, and ensuring compliance with local policies and regulatory requirements. Leads incident investigations and reporting, supports hazard identification, risk assessments, and corrective/preventive actions. Participates in health and safety inspections and audits, gathers data on safety-related trends, and helps implement Emergency Response processes. Acts as a health and safety resource coordinating between shop floor and management, and supports employee engagement initiatives to foster a proactive safety culture. Performs administrative tasks, quality checks, and contributes to continuous improvement of safety, process, and material flow.
