Job Summary
Records Manager responsible for systematic control of the Department of Watershed Management’s records from creation to final disposition in accordance with legal, regulatory, and department requirements. Leads process improvements using data-driven methods to enhance quality and compliance; manages Open Records Requests (ORRs); collaborates with IT on digital records systems; conducts regular audits; trains staff on records management and ORR procedures; maintains records lifecycle from creation to disposal; establishes retention schedules; handles sensitive information with discretion; develops disaster recovery and information governance strategies; ensures metadata integrity and secure records management.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business/public administration or related field
- three (3) years of records management or archiving experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
