Job Summary
Deliver daily instruction to assigned classes following lesson plans and Desert View School's educational philosophy while maintaining classroom order and ensuring student safety. Communicate continuously with learning coaches to maintain educational continuity and actively engage students. Implement redirection and disciplinary alternatives per school procedures, compile accurate attendance records, and fulfill any additional duties as assigned. Remain available to accept assignments without significant notice. Requires an Arizona Fingerprint clearance card, High School Diploma or GED, and ability to operate electronic devices and transport equipment.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a High School Diploma or GED
- Must have an Arizona Fingerprint clearance card
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position whenever necessary
- Must be able to traverse whenever necessary to fulfill the needs of the position
- Must be able to operate a computer and other electronic devices which will require repetitive motions
- Must be able to position yourself to assist staff, students or other duties as assigned
- Must be able to communicate, this is both by being able to talk and to hear and be able to observe your surroundings
- Must be available whenever possible to take assignments without significant notice of job assignment
