Job Summary
Participate in the DVM Student Externship/Preceptorship Program, gaining practical experience in a small animal practice. Externs will work under the supervision of a mentor doctor, performing tasks such as gathering histories, performing physical examinations, and assisting in surgeries. Engagement in patient care activities while upholding professional standards is essential. Externship duration ranges from two to eight weeks, typically two or three weeks long, with a stipend of $250 per week.
