Duty Technician

Duty Technician responsible for maintaining, repairing, checking, and recording equipment across hotel plant rooms, electrical LV panels, switchboards, lighting, AV and fire systems, kitchen equipment, plumbing, HVAC, and related controls. Maintains updated records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System, executes preventive and corrective work orders, and coordinates with the Electrical Foreman and Supervisors to minimize disruption to occupants. Contributes ideas for resolving daily operational issues within the Engineering Department, notifies the Duty Engineer of irregularities, ensures safety and high standards of all plant and services, assists guests and colleagues, participates in training programs, and supports engineering colleagues to exceed guest expectations. Familiarizes with technical details of all plant and services related to the hotel and provides technical advice as needed.
