Job Summary
Oversee all phases of airport daily operations with full authority to make critical decisions while maintaining a safety culture. Manage staffing levels across operational areas, ensuring lunch breaks and schedules meet flow requirements. Assess situations to maintain reliability and respond to incidents, injuries, or accidents as required. Collaborate with Maintenance, Flight Operations, and Inflight teams to decide impacts on passenger service and on-time performance. Provide feedback on employee performance and implement procedural changes related to aircraft arrival, departure, and baggage delivery.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years customer service experience, preferably with proven skills in passenger service or station operations
- 2 years of leadership experience
- Bachelor's degree or an additional two years of relevant training/experience in lieu of this degree
- Experience with scheduling shift work, budget controls, administering discipline and demonstrated motivation skills
- Regular and predictable attendance and ability to work nights, weekends and holidays
- Demonstrated diplomacy and teamwork skills
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Minimum age of 18
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
- post-offer and/or pre-employment drug testing
Desired Qualifications
- Familiar with TSA, FAA, and IATA regulations and requirements related to ground handling and passenger boarding
