Job Summary
Oversee daily museum operations by running opening and closing procedures, managing floor staffing, and maintaining cleanliness. Act as the senior team leader on duty, handling guest inquiries, resolving complaints in real time, and mediating employee conflicts. Utilize the POS system to track attendance and support reporting while integrating new hires and coaching staff. Serve as the designated Incident Controller and First Aider, conducting health and safety checks and managing incidents with full compliance. Work full-time shifts from 8am to 11pm, including weekends and bank holidays, to support primary and secondary spend targets. Hand over accurately to the next Duty Manager at shift end.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in a customer-facing visitor attraction role
- Proven experience as a team leader
- Confident decision-maker under pressure
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong time-management skills
- Working knowledge of Health & Safety procedures
- Flexible availability, including weekends, evenings, and school holidays
