Job Summary
Duty Manager responsible for processing guest check-ins, verifying identity and payment methods, assigning rooms, issuing room keys, and entering guest and Marriott Rewards information. Maintain accurate accounts, ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions, secure payment prior to key issuance, and balance/deliver daily reports. Provide guests with directions and property information, accommodate guest requests, and follow up to ensure needs are met. Handle all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges; balance and drop receipts; manage end-of-shift cash procedures and bank. Assist management in training and supervising staff, modeling professional conduct, upholding policy and safety procedures, protecting company assets, maintaining confidentiality, and delivering high-quality guest service. Proficient in computer/POS systems, and able to stand for extended periods, with ability to lift up to 10 pounds as needed. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, and at least 1 year of related supervisory experience.
