Job Summary
Lead day-to-day venue operations across food, beverage, gaming, and functions while delivering exceptional guest experiences and maintaining high service standards. Coach, develop, and motivate the front-of-house team; manage labour, rostering, and venue presentation to ensure operational compliance. Handle customer enquiries, resolve issues professionally, and oversee bookings for private functions and key trading periods. Assist with cash management, revenue reporting, and end-of-day reconciliation while working closely with the Venue Manager to drive success. Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Duty Manager or similar leadership role
- Strong food, beverage and functions experience
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead and inspire a team
- Sound understanding of cash handling, revenue reporting and venue operations
- Strong problem-solving skills and confidence in resolving guest concerns
- Effective labour management and rostering experience
- Proficient computer skills
- Current RSA & RSG certificates
- RMLV highly regarded or willingness to obtain
