Job Summary
Oversee daily hotel operations and ensure seamless service delivery across all departments by supervising front-of-house and back-of-house staff. Address guest concerns promptly, monitor security protocols, and conduct regular property inspections to maintain cleanliness and compliance. Manage emergency situations, coordinate responses, and prepare detailed shift reports documenting incidents and feedback. Liaise between departments, support revenue management initiatives, and conduct staff briefings on service excellence. Ensure adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations while managing key control systems and assisting with staff training.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience in a hotel operations or duty management role within a luxury hospitality environment
- Proven track record of managing multi-departmental teams and coordinating staff across front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Strong knowledge of hotel management systems (PMS) and property management software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise effectively across all levels of staff
- Demonstrated ability to handle guest complaints and resolve conflicts with professionalism and discretion
- Sound understanding of health, safety, and hygiene regulations applicable to hospitality establishments
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, nights, weekends, and public holidays as required
- Strong organisational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Experience in a 5-star or luxury hotel property
- First Aid and CPR certification
- Knowledge of emergency management and crisis response procedures
- Experience with revenue management and occupancy optimisation strategies
- Proficiency in multiple languages, particularly Hindi or other regional Indian languages
- Previous experience in staff training, induction, and performance management
- Familiarity with security systems and access control protocols
