Job Summary
Duty Manager overseeing day-to-day operations with a focus on functions, guest experience and leading service periods. Responsibilities include coordinating private functions and events from setup to pack down, liaising with clients to meet requirements, collaborating with kitchen/bar/management to deliver seamless service, ensuring function spaces meet Astrolabe standards, leading front-of-house teams, handling busy service periods, managing customer feedback, and supporting staff development and venue culture while maintaining health & safety and licensing compliance.
Required Qualifications
- Previous experience in a Duty Manager or hospitality leadership role
- Proven experience coordinating functions or large group bookings
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for hospitality, events and customer experience
- Current LCQ qualification and Duty Manager Certificate essential
