Job Summary
Duty Manager responsible for daily briefings and supervising staff to ensure high-quality service and adherence to department standards across hotel operations. Responsibilities include front desk workflow analysis, rate variance review, guest services coordination, logbook documentation, shift handover oversight, cross-department coordination, handling guest needs and complaints, front-of-house and back-of-house inspection, ensuring compliance with marketing techniques to maximize sales, billing and credit monitoring, managing overbooking and relocations, On-Call Valet Desk operations, safety and loss-control adherence, Night Audit processes, and ongoing staff orientation and training. Requires a Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management, a minimum of 2 years in a similar role, strong English proficiency, and solid MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint). Leadership, interpersonal, and customer-service-focused abilities are essential, with the capacity to multi-task in high-pressure environments.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity
- Excellent reading, writing and oral proficiency in English
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel, Word, & PowerPoint
- Strong leadership, interpersonal and training skills
- Good communication and customer contact skills
