Job Summary
Duty Manager at a Delhi-area hotel. Conduct daily briefings, supervise staff to maintain high-quality service and department standards, review Front Desk workflows, analyze rate variance and approve discounts, communicate with Front Office Manager on guest services and operations, document guest issues in the logbook, sign off on media and supervise shift handovers, coordinate with other departments, provide management presence to address guests’ needs and complaints, assist with guest greeting, rooming, and departures, inspect front-of-house and back-of-house for cleanliness, ensure frontline staff follow marketing techniques to maximize sales, monitor guest billing instructions and credit discrepancies, manage full-house situations including overbooking and relocations, ensure On-Call Valet Desk operations, uphold safety and loss-control policies in lobby and driveway, conduct Night Audit, provide orientation and training on service standards, monitor appearance and professionalism, foster a productive work environment, and perform other duties as assigned. Requires Diploma in Tourism / Hospitality Management, 2+ years of relevant experience, excellent English reading/writing/oral skills, multilingual ability is an advantage, and proficient knowledge of MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; strong leadership, interpersonal, and training skills; customer-focused, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking in high-pressure environments.
