Job Summary
Duty Manager at SPAR Market Harborough responsible for supporting the Store Manager in driving store operations across all shifts, leading and coaching a team to deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring a safe, legal, high-performing store, handling cash reconciliations and till duties, managing opening/closing, achieving KPIs, and promoting community engagement while upholding company policies and procedures. Key duties include supervising staff, performance/absence management, prioritising tasks, effective communication at all levels, and contributing to store sales and profitability through focused leadership and a positive, collaborative management style. The role requires evenings and weekend availability and overtime as needed.
