Duty Engineer - Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong

Duty Engineer at Marriott International’s Moxy Bangkok Ratchaprasong location. Responsibilities include installing, maintaining, performing preventative maintenance on tools, appliances, and equipment; calibrating controls and gauges; identifying and operating shut-off valves; ordering, stocking, and logging parts; inspecting tools and machinery; completing life-safety checks (fire-pump run test and generator run test); inspecting fire sprinkler valves and alarm systems; assisting in developing disaster response protocols; responding to and addressing guest repair requests. Supervisory duties include assisting management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Adherence to safety and security policies, maintaining professional appearance and confidentiality, providing excellent guest service, fostering teamwork, and driving continuous improvement in quality, safety, productivity, and cost-savings. Requires standing, bending, lifting up to 50 pounds, and other physical duties; travel within the hotel environment as needed; and willingness to perform other duties as assigned. Education: Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree preferred; Related Work Experience: ≥2 years; Supervisory Experience: ≥2 years.
