Job Summary
Monitor and maintain all engineering systems and equipment across the hotel, ensuring smooth operation of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, water supply, and kitchen facilities. Respond promptly to engineering breakdowns, guest complaints, and operational requests while conducting regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and plant rooms. Coordinate with operating departments to resolve maintenance issues, carry out preventive maintenance schedules, and perform troubleshooting on critical equipment. Maintain records of maintenance activities, equipment checks, and repair works, ensuring compliance with safety standards, statutory requirements, and hotel policies. Monitor fire and life safety systems, reporting any abnormalities immediately to the Chief Engineer.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Hotel Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 4–5 years of experience in hotel engineering, facilities management, or building maintenance
- Good knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and general maintenance operations
