Duty Engineer

Duty Engineer at Mövenpick Surabaya City hotel with 243 rooms and amenities including a spa, gym, and dining facilities. Responsible for coordinating with all departments to maintain guest service, staff productivity, and morale; providing effective team support to deliver efficient services; responding to guest queries to ensure satisfaction; motivating and developing staff; ensuring safety training; overseeing optimal use of resources and educating the team on cost-effective practices; monitoring temperature in cold stores and public areas; maintaining operational condition of fire detectors, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems; coordinating with departments for regular equipment servicing and testing; ensuring safety measures and maintenance of fire fighting equipment; supervising operation of air-conditioning plants, boilers, and pumps; maintaining water levels in storage tanks; ensuring proper maintenance of equipment in collaboration with user departments and staying updated on safety and surveillance technology; candidates with at least 2 years’ experience in luxury hotel engineering are assets; strong troubleshooting, detail-orientation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment; knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems; opportunities for career growth within Accor and CSR initiatives.
