Job Summary
Duty Drawback Sr. Specialist responsible for end-to-end processing of drawback claims, including analyzing import/export data, preparing/submitting claims, and providing updates to clients. Remote role for a Utah-based service company. Responsibilities include managing assigned clients/claims, handling moderate-to-high complexity drawback programs, compiling/analyzing data from multiple sources to identify discrepancies, maintaining compliant documentation per regulations and SOPs, building internal/external relationships, coaching junior colleagues, resolving technical/compliance challenges, supporting onboarding of new clients, and serving as a subject-matter resource on drawback fundamentals. Requires 3-5 years in import entry/customs brokerage, strong supply chain knowledge, duty drawback regulations experience, HTS/Valuation/FTA knowledge, excellent communication, data analytics, Excel proficiency, and a Bachelor's degree (preferred) with LCB/CCS preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience with import entry and customs brokerage process
- Solid understanding of supply chain, import, and export processes
- In depth experience of duty drawback regulations and claims processing
- Operational knowledge of HTS, Valuation, COO, FTA, etc.
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Strong data analytics and attention to detail
- Ability to independently prioritize workload and manage deadlines
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or other data analytic tools
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- LCB or CCS preferred
