Job Summary
Conduct initial assessments and provide treatment for acute medical conditions while monitoring admitted patients and updating care plans. Perform minor procedures such as suturing, wound care, and IV line insertions during emergency situations including cardiac arrest and trauma. Maintain accurate clinical documentation and report critical updates to senior consultants. Collaborate with nursing staff to deliver quality patient care and communicate treatment plans to families. Requires MBBS degree with relevant council registration and ability to handle high-pressure decision-making. Schedule is shift-based with rotational duties.
Required Qualifications
- MBBS Degree: A Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) degree from a recognized medical institution.
- License/Registration: Registration with the relevant medical council (e.g., Medical Council of India, GMC in the UK, etc.).
- Clinical Knowledge: Strong understanding of medical procedures, patient care, and diagnostics.
- Emergency Management: Ability to handle medical emergencies and perform basic life support (BLS) and advanced life support (ALS) procedures.
- Decision-Making: Quick decision-making skills under pressure.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in a multi-disciplinary team.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with medical software and electronic health records (EHR).
- Adherence to ethical medical practices and confidentiality standards.
- No history of malpractice or disciplinary actions.
- Office time: Based on Shift
Desired Qualifications
- Postgraduate Degree/Diploma (preferred for some roles): MD, MS, or a diploma in a relevant specialization.
