Job Summary
Duty Controller at Scott Air Force Base in Illinois coordinates and monitors servers, cloud services, and networks to ensure high availability and security; creates and disseminates critical reports; applies training to meet client needs in global operations; assists in securing server locations for data processing; analyzes network and system issues to meet client SLAs; updates network architecture, installs VOIP, and changes ISPs; provides advanced technical knowledge and SME guidance across complex applications and environments, including doctorate-level knowledge for effective implementation; on-site role with possible after-hours and weekend support; reports to management and customers; requires active DoD Secret clearance and IAT Level II certifications.
Required Qualifications
- One of these IAT Level II certifications: Security+, CECCNA-Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CND, SSCP
- A Computing Environment (CE) certification or certificate for the technical area of responsibility in either Network support/defense (e.g., Splunk, Cisco, McAfee, etc.) OR (e.g., Microsoft, Linux, Solaris, etc.)
- Help Desk Institute Customer Service Representative Certification - or willing to obtain
- Exceptional expertise and experience in the technical field. Must have Subject Matter Expert knowledge and expertise, recognized as an industry leader.
- Active DoD Secret Security Clearance
- US Citizens
