Job Summary
Conduct daily supervision of students at Sycamore Creek Elementary for a 3.5-hour per day, 186-day contract. Maintain supervision of small or large groups while quickly responding to student needs and standing for long periods. Communicate effectively with students, staff, and parents from diverse populations while respecting confidential information. Collaborate with peers, follow directions, and demonstrate a strong work ethic and desire to succeed. Complete an on-line application if qualified and interested.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalency
- Interest in working with children
- Ability to communicate and work well with others
- Ability to maintain supervision of a small/large group situation and be able to quickly respond to student needs
- Ability to follow directions and a strong desire to succeed
- Must be respectful and work collaboratively with peers
- Must be dependable and exhibit a strong work ethic
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
- Ability to maintain and respect confidential information and situations
- Must work well with students, staff and parents of diverse populations
