Dutch Wonderland Inn Lead Lifeguard

Dutch Wonderland Inn Lead Lifeguard oversees the Aquatics team and daily operations, ensuring guest safety, pool and waterslide testing, and adherence to Ellis & Associates standards. Responsibilities include supervising staff, backfilling lifeguard positions, coordinating new-hire orientation and training, scheduling and timekeeping, maintaining zone coverage, responding to emergencies, logging incidents, assisting with crowd control, and ensuring all park areas are safe and clean. Requires demonstrating lifeguard skills (swim 200 yards, retrieve a 10-lb brick from 11 ft, tread water 2 minutes), ability to read/write/speak fluent English (Spanish a plus), and willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Must be at least 16 years old and able to comply with safety and regulatory standards; certification training and ongoing in-service requirements are required.
