Job Summary
Dutch-Speaking Level 1 Support Specialist located in Budapest, Hungary (hybrid). Serves as the first point of contact for end users seeking technical assistance via phone, web, chat, or email. Responsible for accurate issue logging, initial diagnosis, and efficient resolution of incidents and service requests, aiming for First Contact Resolution (FCR). Escalates to Level 1.5 or Level 2 as needed, and assigns on-site interventions to Field Support. Tracks SLAs/KPIs, communicates ticket progress and next steps, and ensures customer satisfaction. Requires minimum 2 years in a service desk or similar role, Dutch and English language proficiency at C1 level, and solid IT troubleshooting across software, hardware, OS, and networks. Familiarity with QSR/POS/KDS systems is advantageous; strong documentation and teamwork are emphasized. Hybrid working arrangement is supported.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a service desk role or other similar technical role
- Language proficiency in English and Dutch at the C1 level or equivalent
- Proficient in fundamental IT troubleshooting for software, hardware, OS (Windows, Windows Server), and network environments
- Understanding the QSR environment and POS/KDS systems is an advantage
- Strong customer service orientation and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and manage workload in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with excellent documentation and follow-up abilities
- Collaborative mindset with a focus on knowledge sharing and continuous improvement
- Critical thinking: diagnostic reasoning and identifying connections
