Job Summary
Facilitator & Educator role supporting Impact Kids’ before, during, and after school programs. Responsibilities include organizing and delivering the daily curriculum, documenting attendance and incidents, using the school curriculum and Learning Management System, maintaining safety and well-being, leading enrichment activities, supporting homework completion, and communicating effectively with children, parents, staff, and school personnel. The role emphasizes positive leadership, student management, collaboration with the Program Manager and team, and opportunities for professional growth through development and pay raise incentives. Location-based duties are at Chicago, IL elementary schools with on-site, after-school programming from 10am–6pm (varying by location).
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 1 year of experience working with children under 13 years of age
- Excellent customer service and relationship skills
- Ability to meet state-specific requirements; CPR, Mandated Reporter training, TB test and more
- Ability to organize, facilitate, and educate program materials using school curriculum and Learning Management System
- Strong communication skills with children, parents, staff, and school personnel
