Job Summary
Operate and set up the mechanical dumper on C Shift in Forest, MS, ensuring safe work practices and adherence to Tyson policies. Responsibilities include operating the dumper, performing basic mechanical and maintenance tasks, maintaining a clean work area, reading and logging required information, and communicating with supervisors and co-workers via two-way radio. May be required to operate a frontend loader or forklift with certification. Other duties as assigned by supervisor; strongly emphasizes physical requirements (standing, lifting up to 50 pounds, climbing stairs/ladders, working in variable conditions) and compliance with safety procedures. Required Qualifications
- 6 months continuous employment with 1 employer within past 12 months
- read and complete required logs
- communicate with supervisor and co-workers via two-way radio
- willing and able to perform physical requirements of the job with/without accommodation
- may be required to operate frontend loader or forklift and must obtain certification to do so
