Job Summary
Operate dump trucks (single‐axle, tandem, or tri‐axle) to haul materials such as dirt, gravel, asphalt, sand, rock, and construction debris to and from job sites for road construction, site development, and utility projects. Load, haul, and dump materials safely while performing daily pre‐trip and post‐trip inspections, documenting defects, and checking fluid levels, tires, lights, and brakes. Follow designated routes, speed limits, and DOT regulations including weight limits and hours‐of‐service rules, communicating effectively with operators and foremen. Assist with spotting, backing, and material placement, maintain clean truck beds and equipment, and report incidents or unsafe conditions promptly. Requires a valid CDL Class A, B, or C with HazMat endorsement (preferred), willingness to work night shifts, weekends, and overtime, plus ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in all weather conditions.
Required Qualifications
- Valid driver's license
- CDL Class A, B, or C
- Must be willing to work night shift
- Clean driving record meeting company and insurance requirements
- Previous experience operating a dump truck or similar commercial truck
- Ability to work in all weather conditions and on active construction sites
- Ability to climb into/out of the truck repeatedly and lift up to 50 lbs
- Dependable attendance and reliable transportation
- Pass pre-employment drug screen
- Able to provide valid documentation for the I-9 Immigration document
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, or extended hours as needed
