Job Summary
Drive dump trucks to transport construction materials to job and plant locations; ensure a safe work environment in compliance with safety policies; perform safety maneuvers to load/unload material; operate hand/foot controls to move truck; inspect equipment per CDL pre-trip guidelines; perform basic maintenance and lubrication as needed; maintain daily logs; adhere to DOT standards; communicate with management and foreman on job sites; may assist with lifting/moving materials; overtime required; location: Hampton Roads, VA; company: Branscome; emphasizes safety, teamwork, and experience with heavy truck operations.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CDL, Class B with air brake endorsement.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience driving commercial vehicles preferred.
- Vision must be acceptable to both day and night driving.
- Ability to do basic math.
