Job Summary
Dump Truck Driver responsible for transporting materials to and from job sites, loading/unloading freight, following designated routes, and performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Must hold a CDL with a clean driving record and have experience with dump, roll-off, and other heavy-duty vehicles. Proficiency in operating manual transmissions is preferred. Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers a plus. Strong safety emphasis, accurate delivery records, and effective communication with dispatchers and site managers. Capable of working independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience driving dump trucks, roll-off trucks, or other heavy-duty vehicles
- Proficiency in operating manual transmission vehicles is preferred
- Familiarity with refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, tankers, and tractor-trailers is a plus
- Previous experience as a delivery driver or in commercial driving is highly desirable
- Ability to operate forklifts for loading and unloading materials
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
