Job Summary
Operate a dump truck to deliver construction materials (asphalt, borrow material, excavation, stone base) to projects. Perform pre-trip inspections, transport materials timely, and may operate additional truck types. Requires CDL Class B, a valid medical card, and the ability to read/write for paperwork; must be reliable, safety-minded, and a team player capable of complying with safety rules and instructions. Must be able to work long shifts, participate in post-trip inspections, and maneuver in congested or challenging environments. Barnhill offers comprehensive benefits and development programs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year experience
- CDL Class B
- Valid Medical Card
- At least 19 years old
- Ability to read and write; paperwork required
- Ability to abide by precise instructions and safety rules/policies
- Reliable and trustworthy; team player
- Good attendance and safety record
- Able to stand/walk, drive long periods, climb steps, work in elevated temperatures
- Able to operate truck and perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Willing to perform other duties or operate other types of trucks
