Job Summary
Operate dump trucks to transport materials such as dirt, stone, asphalt, and milling debris between job sites for grading, excavation, mainline pipe installation, processed water, milling, and paving operations. Load and unload materials while ensuring proper weight distribution and adherence to legal load limits. Follow assigned haul routes and traffic laws, inspect trucks daily for safety and mechanical issues, and maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, and material loads. Communicate effectively with site supervisors, equipment operators, and project teams. Requires a valid CDL B license with at least two years of experience in heavy civil construction, a clean driving record, and knowledge of DOT regulations. Hourly range is $24.00 - $28.00 based on experience.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating a CDL B dump truck in heavy civil construction
- Valid CDL B license with a clean driving record
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and adapt to various weather conditions
Desired Qualifications
- CDL A is a plus
- Experience hauling materials for site work, grading, excavation, mainline pipe, processed water, milling, or paving projects preferred
