Job Summary
Lead residential air-duct and dryer-vent cleaning projects by setting up negative-air equipment and performing source-removal cleaning on supply, return ductwork, trunk lines, and registers. Safely operate air whips, brushes, vacuums, and agitation equipment while creating and closing service access openings. Protect HVAC equipment and customer property, recognize damaged or unsuitable duct systems, and complete before-and-after photographs. Train and supervise a second technician, coordinate with indoor-air-quality teams, and improve procedures and quality control. Explain work clearly to homeowners and maintain company vehicles and tools. Earn revenue incentives based on collected revenue and documentation completion.
Required Qualifications
- Previous hands-on air-duct-cleaning experience
- Knowledge of negative-pressure source-removal cleaning
- Experience operating duct-cleaning and agitation equipment
- Strong mechanical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lead a two-person crew efficiently
- Professional customer-service and communication skills
- Dependable attendance and personal accountability
- Commitment to completing work correctly and safely
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Ability to pass applicable background and driving-record checks
- Willingness to earn ASCS certification within the required period
- Ability to lift and move equipment weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to work from ladders and in attics, basements, and crawlspaces
- Ability to bend, kneel, and remain active for extended periods
- Ability to work around dust and debris while wearing required protective equipment
Desired Qualifications
