Job Summary
Configure, test, support, and implement approved Duck Creek product changes within the Policy Administration System. Use Duck Creek configuration tools to manage rates, rules, forms, validations, underwriting logic, transactions, and workflows. Perform unit testing, regression testing, defect validation, and post-release validation; triage production issues; document requirements, assumptions, and changes; provide guidance and mentorship to other configurators; maintain knowledge-base materials and participate in deployment activities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in an analytical field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Business, Accounting, Insurance, or equivalent related experience
- Prior experience configuring or supporting insurance products within a Policy Administration System
- Hands-on experience with Duck Creek configuration tools or similar insurance product configuration platforms
- Experience with testing, defect resolution, documentation, and production support
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects, assignments, and production support requests
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively with business and technical teams
- Knowledge of Duck Creek Author and related Duck Creek configuration tools (preferred)
- Experience using JIRA, Confluence, Service Desk, Git, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps, or similar tools (preferred)
- Knowledge of Commercial Lines coverages, limits, deductibles, classifications, rating plans, underwriting rules, forms, transactions, and regulatory requirements (preferred)
- Experience in insurance product configuration, testing, and production support
- Due to current business and operational considerations, location in AL, AR, CA, CT, FL, GA, KY, MO, NC, NV, OH, SC, TN, TX, VA, and WI (restricted states)
