Dual Recovery Specialist

Job Summary
Provide case management with crisis intervention, discharge planning, group and individual work, and mental health/substance use disorder counseling to support program goals. Initiate referrals to next level care, coordinate with physical health providers for whole-person care, and advocate in the best interest of clients. Complete accurate and timely documentation to meet minimum billable requirements for direct client services. Facilitate placement including pre-placement visits and transportation as needed, while providing field-based services and information on substance use and relapse prevention strategies. Act as the team expert on serving dually diagnosed clients and participate in scheduled program meetings. Shift coverage includes part of the on-call team.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree with two years of experience in social services
- Bachelor's degree with four years of experience in social services
- SUD certification or registration from recognized board
- Valid CA driver's license
- Current auto insurance per contract requirements
- Cultural competency understanding
Desired Qualifications
- Experience providing mental health and/or substance use disorder services
- Bilingual
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- EHR software
