Job Summary
Proactively identify and qualify new business opportunities through cold calling, tele-prospecting, and networking to generate sales leads. Execute reactive sales efforts by prospecting lead sources, establishing long-term relationships with negotiated accounts and group business, and securing the best sales opportunities based on market conditions. Conduct site visits, model room tours, and hotel inspections for potential customers while maintaining monthly activity goals and revenue quotas. Ensure timely client responses within 24 hours and create necessary correspondence including sales agreements and proposals. Work with various departments to resolve guest relations issues and minimize billing errors by educating the team on client-specific needs. Maintain records of third-party client contracts for timely renewal and rate negotiations. Travel from the employer's site to customer sites, requiring the ability to drive an automobile and handle physical demands up to 50 lbs.
