Job Summary
Lead the maintenance team for two downtown Phoenix communities by inspiring staff to meet brand standards, holding members accountable for daily duties, and executing preventative schedules for HVAC, lighting, and fire safety systems. Perform hands-on repairs across suites and amenity spaces including painting, caulking, electrical work, and appliance fixes while managing outside vendors and preparing units for resident move-ins. Complete resident service requests, assist with new hire recruitment and onboarding, and oversee department budgeting to identify cost savings. Requires 2–5 years of maintenance experience, leadership skills, and reliable transportation for on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two to five years of maintenance, construction, or related experience, i.e. plumbing, electric, carpentry, appliance repairs, etc.
- Minimum of one year demonstrated leadership experience in managing a team, including coaching, mentoring, training, and holding team members accountable
- Reliable transportation for required on-call rotation and community emergencies that may occur outside of normal business hours
Desired Qualifications
- Multifamily real estate or hospitality/hotel industry experience
- HVAC certified
