Job Summary
Dual-Licensed Massage Therapists and Estheticians are sought at Equinox Spa in San Francisco. Responsibilities include analyzing, consulting and performing massage treatments (25, 50, 80-minute sessions) including deep tissue, sports, prenatal and Swedish massages, ensuring the room is cleaned after each shift, and directing efforts toward member satisfaction. Estheticians will analyze, consult and perform facials and body treatments, with responsibilities toward member satisfaction and potential growth into management. Must possess a valid CA Massage Therapy license or certification; 1-2 years of experience preferred; must have training in facial and body waxing. Cross-training in Stone massage, Prenatal, Craniosacral, point work, amma therapy, shiatsu, aromatherapy and Reflexology is highly preferred. Availability includes evenings and weekends; strong communication skills and computer literacy are required. Compensation includes pay per session ($39.50-$43.50) or hourly rate ($18.67/hr for non-session work) with bonus opportunities. Must be able to work full-time or part-time as available.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess a valid CA Massage Therapy license or certification
- 1-2 years of experience preferred
- Must have specific training in facial and body waxing
- Must be available on a full-time basis (part-time opportunities may also be available)
- Evening and weekend availability a must.
