Dual Language Teacher (K-5)

Elementary Dual Language Teacher (K-5) in Siler City, NC for a two-way immersion program teaching both English and Spanish. Responsibilities include developing lesson objectives aligned to state/curricular guidelines, lecturing and using audiovisual aids, preparing and correcting tests, recording results, supervising attendance, coordinating field trips, supporting inclusion or combined classes, engaging in ongoing professional development, and collaborating with colleagues and families. Must hold state Elementary certification (025) and Spanish certification (521) and be designated as highly qualified. Full-time for ten months with salary based on state/local schedules. Strong knowledge of curriculum, instruction, and assessment practices; excellent written and oral communication; ability to work with adult learners and maintain records; capability to adapt to diverse classroom needs and environments.
