Job Summary
Dual Language English Teacher (Grade 6) in Waterbury Public Schools. Responsibilities include creating a dual-language immersion (English) classroom with instruction in English across content areas and English as a Second Language, taught with a co-teacher delivering Spanish content areas. Approximately 50% of students are native Spanish speakers and 50% are native English speakers. Develops and modifies instructional plans, maintains records, monitors student outcomes, and collaborates with parents, staff, and the community to support each student’s growth. Requires a Bachelor's degree and CT teaching certification; ongoing CEU requirements for recertification.

- Valid Connecticut State Board of Education teaching certificate/endorsement appropriate to the teaching assignment
