Job Summary
Dual Language English and Spanish Elementary Teacher at Framingham Public Schools for the 2026-2027 school year. The role focuses on delivering high-quality instruction to achieve academic proficiency while supporting social-emotional and mental health needs, aligning lessons with Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, and fostering equity, inclusion, and belonging. Key duties include designing comprehensive lesson plans, delivering research-based instruction, differentiating to meet diverse learners (including ELLs, IEPs, and 504 plans), using data-driven decision-making to monitor progress, implementing Universal Design for Learning, utilizing restorative practices, collaborating in PLCs with multidisciplinary teams, and integrating culturally proficient practices to support an equitable district environment. The position requires a Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) with Massachusetts licensure in Early Childhood (PreK-2) or Elementary (1-6) with a bilingual endorsement, and involves regular professional development and community collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- Valid Massachusetts Teaching License in: Early Childhood (PreK-2) and Bilingual Endorsement, or Elementary (1-6) and Bilingual Endorsement
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education or related field required; Master’s Degree preferred
- Proven track record of high-quality instruction and managing a diverse classroom
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish and/or Portuguese encouraged
