Job Summary
Undertake safe installation, exchange, commissioning, removal, and maintenance of metering systems, associated equipment, and communication systems across the UK. Alternate between attending Warrants as the on-site engineer and acting as the Warrant Officer, or focus purely on technical metering work depending on role assignment. Deliver friendly, professional customer interactions while resolving friendly debt visits and ensuring full compliance with health and safety regulations and metering standards. Take ownership of stock, tools, and company vehicle while collaborating with colleagues to deliver team goals. Operate a rotating Monday-Friday shift pattern between 6am and 8pm with no on-call requirements.
Required Qualifications
- An experienced Smart Metering Dual Fuel Engineer
- Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
- Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)
- UK Driving Licence
- Pass a DBS check
- Undertake friendly debt resolution visits to support customers
- Alternate between attending Warrants as the on-site engineer and acting as the Warrant Officer (always supported — never solo)
- Focus purely on technical metering work — no Warrant or debt visits

- This position does not fulfil the UK Visas & Immigration sponsorship criteria for Skilled Worker, therefore we can only accept applications from candidates who already have an indefinite right to work in the UK
