Job Summary
Lead sales for two hotels: Holiday Inn Express & Suites Hayward and voco Hayward by IHG; drive corporate, group, SMERF, and meeting/event sales; oversee pre-opening activation; coordinate tours and community outreach; collaborate with Revenue Management on rate strategy and inventory; ensure client interactions reflect professionalism and hospitality; support brand standards and guest satisfaction initiatives; oversee opening activation strategies for the voco Hayward launch; build strong relationships with businesses, organizations, and event planners; participate in weekly sales reporting, forecasts, and market trend analysis; drive occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR through strategic sales efforts.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years hotel sales experience preferred
- Previous Director of Sales or hotel leadership experience preferred
- IHG experience is a plus
- Strong knowledge of group, corporate, and transient sales strategies
- Excellent communication, networking, and relationship-building skills
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
- Experience with hotel sales systems and CRM platforms preferred
- Strong organizational and time management skills
