Job Summary
Oversee all engineering and maintenance operations for two hotel properties, ensuring guest rooms, public spaces, and building systems meet brand standards and safety regulations. Implement and manage preventative maintenance programs for HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems while leading, training, and evaluating maintenance staff at both locations. Respond promptly to maintenance issues, coordinate capital projects, and manage vendor relationships and service contracts. Maintain inspection readiness for fire, safety, health, and brand audits while monitoring engineering budgets and inventory controls. Be available on-call to respond to emergencies as required.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Chief Engineer or senior hotel maintenance leader
- Must be flexible to work including holidays and weekends
- Strong organization, accountability, and the ability to prioritize effectively across multiple locations
- Hands-on leadership style with strong problem-solving skills
- Organized, dependable, and comfortable working with minimal oversight
- Professional communication skills and a solutions-focused mindset

- Experience supporting multiple properties or complex facilities preferred
