Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive mental health and substance use disorder assessments, including DSM diagnoses and clinical formulations, while developing strengths-based treatment plans. Deliver direct services through individual counseling, group therapy, and crisis intervention using trauma-informed and evidence-based modalities. Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to coordinate whole-person care, facilitate client access to off-site appointments and court services, and monitor health and safety needs. Maintain accurate clinical records and participate in regular supervision and quality improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- CADC-1 or greater
- QMHP-C
- LPC-A or LPC
- LMFT-A or LMFT
- CSWA or LCSW
- Adult CPR certification prior to start date
- Adult First Aid Certification prior to start date
- Director's Custody designee certification in Multnomah County within the first 6 months of hire
- Ability to adhere to Central City Concern's drug-free workplace
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen
- Pass a TB test
- Pass a background check
- DHS Background Check Unit clearance
- No DUI conviction or diversion in the previous 3 years
- No felony conviction in the previous 3 years
- No conviction under the Uniform Controlled Substance Act in the previous 3 years
- Ability to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull, and lift heavy objects
- Ability to climb stairs
- Current driver's license
- Access to a vehicle
- Qualify as an Acceptable Driver
- Pass initial drivers training within 60 days
- Continued recertification training for drivers
- Vehicle insurance coverage of a minimum of $100,000/$300,000 personal auto liability coverage
- Ability to adhere to agency's non-discrimination policies
- Ability to effectively interact with co-workers and clients with diverse ethnic backgrounds, religious views, cultural backgrounds, life-styles, and sexual orientations
- Ability to treat each individual with respect and dignity
- Ability to walk, bend, stoop, kneel, squat, twist, reach, pull and lift heavy objects, and climb stairs with reasonable or no accommodation
