DTU Tenure Track Researcher in Use of alternative biomasses for hybrid foods - DTU Food

Researcher in the DTU National Food Institute's Bioactives – Analysis and Application group focusing on the use of alternative biomasses (e.g., algae, insects, legumes) to develop sustainable, sensory-acceptable hybrid foods. Responsibilities include Characterization of techno-functional properties of biomasses and derived ingredients, development of innovative concepts to modify biomass properties, combining ingredients from different biomasses to create tasty hybrids, creating technologies for high oxidative stability with delivery systems, knowledge transfer to industry, and teaching duties in Danish or English. Requires PhD (or equivalent) and demonstrated research in biomass-based food ingredients, lipid oxidation and delivery systems, with proven ability to initiate collaborations, contribute to teaching, and engage in international and societal impact activities. Salary terms are set under the Danish collective agreement; position is part of the Tenure Track program.
