Job Summary
Monitor finish application, filament, splitting, winder tension, and yarn bundle quality while following spec sheets and process equipment instructions. Report off-standard conditions immediately to the Crew Leader and ensure entire take-up systems are doffed when full bobbins reach standard size. Label finished packages, maintain production records, and keep housekeeping in order. Take waste to proper disposition, bale it, and provide assistance with equipment maintenance, repairs, and scheduled P.M.'s. Train other employees as required and perform other duties including Lab Tech responsibilities and LTO. Adhere to area and plant safety rules.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to read and write
- Must be able to do basic addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication
- Computer knowledge or data entry skills
- Must be able to operate a lift truck
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
