Job Summary
Upholstery Technician role on a dental manufacturing team focused on building high-quality dental chairs. Responsibilities include preparing foam, fabric, and materials; measuring, marking, and cutting to patterns; installing upholstery with hand tools, power tools, adhesives, and staples; inspecting fabrics, foam, frames, and components for quality; operating industrial sewing machines; repairing or replacing upholstery on dental chairs; reviewing work orders and bills of materials for custom builds; performing routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting; collaborating with production to meet deadlines and contributing ideas to improve quality and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required
- At least one year of manufacturing or production experience preferred
- Upholstery experience and familiarity with upholstery tools and equipment is a plus
- Experience operating industrial sewing equipment is preferred
